TRAINING WITH A DIFFERENCE

Due to Covid-19, we are unable to hold our annual District Training in person. We recognise the importance of these training sessions in providing important education and information for the new Rotary year. So we have created District Training Virtually which will offer key training courses online for free on March 13th.

Attending District Training Virtually will not only give you some amazing training, it will also help you connect with fellow Rotarians. So while we cannot get together in person during this time, you can still be part of Rotary with Rotarians all over our district.

HOW IT WORKS

District Training Virtually will be held online from 8:30am-3:30pm on Saturday March 13th 2021. This is a free event and is open to all Rotarians. 
 
We are offering 25 training classes on various topics ranging from Leadership, Public Image, Foundation, Vocational Service, Membership, the RI Foundation, fundraising, facilitation skills, and public speaking, just to name a few.  We will also be bringing you role specific courses for Presidents-Elect, Presidents-Elect Nominees, Secretaries and Treasurers. We will have classes to familiarize members on DACdb (District and Club Database) which many of our District Clubs are switching, or are considering switching, to officially in July.  We have enlisted well trained presenters, not only from District 5020, but from several other Districts as well. 
 
You must register online to attend. Links to the training courses will be sent to all attendees who have signed up nearer the time. On the day, you will just need to click the link, relax, learn and enjoy!
DTV: SPECIAL EVENT WITH RI PRESIDENT ELECT

As a very special treat, you will have an amazing opportunity to have "Coffee with RI President-Elect Shekhar Mehta" at 10:00 a.m. that day.  Shekhar will begin his service as RI President on July 1, 2021, so this is a wonderful time to get acquainted with the man who will be leading our organization for the upcoming year.  Questions are welcomed, so come prepared!
